PixxuresPixxures, founded in 1999, offers a comprehensive array of traditional mapping services: direct digital and traditional digital orthophotography, DEMs, feature extraction, vector conflation, and data hosting and subscription Web services. Pixxures’ Web Services includes an expansive library of imagery and offers resale of multiple commercial and proprietary data/imagery. Pixxures' corporate office is located in Arvada, Colorado, and serves clients operating in oil and gas; real estate; telecommunications; federal, state, and local governments; and consortiums/councils of government as well as GIS data service providers. For example, Pixxures’ ArcWeb Services for ESRI allows report printing and image data download services. The service allows the user to download data and digital images for exporting in a JPG/JGW format for use in ESRI reports at 72 and 300 dpi resolutions. ArcWeb Services users have access to a composite of one-meter resolution USGS DOQQs. Image data is available in a variety of grayscale, true color, and color infrared formats. Updated quarterly, this dataset is designed to be used as a reference layer for vector extraction and alignment, land-use analysis, detailed access and vegetation analysis, emergency response planning, and tactical implementation.
