Incorporating weather data into your Web application is easy with ArcWeb Services and data from CustomWeather or DTN/Meteorlogix. Data is gathered from more than 2,000 observation points throughout the United States and Canada. Current weather conditions are measured approximately every hour and include information such as temperature, humidity, wind, pressure, and cloud cover.

In addition, weather forecasts are updated approximately twice daily and include information such as high and low temperatures, weather conditions, and sunrise and sunset times for the following nine days. You can also receive precipitation information for the United States that includes type, such as rain or snow, and amount. Precipitation information is updated every 10 minutes.
